We're sorry to see you go. Here's how you can permanently delete your account and data.
⚠️ Important Warning
Account deletion is permanent and irreversible. Once deleted, you will lose access to all your data, including order history, preferences, and any associated content. Please consider downloading your data before proceeding.
Account Deletion Process
Follow these steps to permanently delete your Madyo account
Backup Your Data (Optional)
Before deleting your account, you may want to download your personal data:
- Go to Settings → Privacy & Data
- Click "Download My Data"
- Select the data you want to export
- Wait for the download link via email
Cancel Active Subscriptions
Ensure all active subscriptions and services are cancelled:
- Review your active subscriptions in Account Settings
- Cancel any recurring payments or services
- Complete or cancel any pending orders
- Withdraw any remaining account balance
Initiate Account Deletion
There are two ways to delete your account:
Method A: Through the App/Website
- Log into your account
- Go to Settings → Account Management
- Scroll down to "Delete Account" section
- Click "Delete My Account"
- Confirm your password
- Select reason for deletion (optional)
- Click "Permanently Delete Account"
Method B: Contact Support
If you cannot access your account or prefer assistance:
- Email: support@madyo.mw
- Subject: "Account Deletion Request"
- Include: Full name, email, and reason for deletion
- We'll process your request within 48 hours
Confirmation & Processing
After initiating deletion:
- You'll receive a confirmation email
- Account will be deactivated immediately
- Data deletion begins within 24 hours
- Complete removal takes up to 30 days
- Some data may be retained for legal compliance
